There's no reason why comics couldn't make a re-appearance, although I think WotC would need enough of them to fill a page AND be willing to reach an agreement with the artists.
Just found your blog the last couple of days and have been really enjoying it. I notice the guy closest to the stage looks kind of like Johnny Depp.... ;-)
